Trust The Process

Have you ever actually seen grass grow? It DOES grow! You can stare at it all day and night, but you won't actually see it grow. You just continue to water it daily and eventually one day you walk past it and boom, you will notice that it has grown. The same can be said when committing to an exercise program. Whether you are a beginner or a fitness guru, we all reach a point where the mental aspect of exercising can diminish overall performance. There are going to be days, maybe even weeks where you don't see the physical improvements as you would like. My advice to you is workout anyways!! These negative takes can trick you out of staying motivated to continue on your journey. It is a p r o c e s s! A process that takes months and even years for the body to form into your goals.

It is best to treat fitness as a hobby instead of a job, find ways to enjoy it! There so many different ways to exercise (weightlifting, HiiT training, Yoga, running etc...) find one or multiple and use them to create a passion for exercising. Working out with friends or coworkers is a great way to push yourself when you experience those doubtful moments. If you find passion in it, you will have fun instead of putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. Taking care of your body is one of the best decisions that you can make.
